Last Friday, I sent students home with the Act of Kindness project. Everyone also signed up for the day they wanted to talk about their act of kindness.
All students had (hopefully still have) their sheet.
Basically, students choose from a list or find a different idea for how to show and share kindness with others. Then, they create a short presentation in English about their act of kindness.
List of ideas follows: 100 acts of kindness
Students should be aware of when they are presenting ( a super short presentation). It is an informal presentation format and not standing in front of the whole class to speak (unless of course they want to – we have some very natural speakers within the Lambocorne crew!)
Pictures are helpful but not essential. Students present:
- What was the act of kindness
- Who they were kind to
- how did the person or people react to the kindness
- How did the student feel during or after doing the act of kindness
- Are they planning another act of kindness
In the event your student has forgotten or lost the paper, please feel free to email me their date.
